Hospitals in Columbus, Oxford, Southaven, New Albany and Booneville offer a variety of services, including 24-hour emergency care. Four hospitals offer labor and delivery services and three have neurosurgery and open-heart surgery services. Several of these hospitals also operate sleep disorders centers and offer cancer services and hospice care.
